Established in 1994 in response to community demand, Ramah Darom has flourished with the determination and commitment of individuals and communities throughout the South. Ramah Darom’s mission is to create an experiential and informal “educational village” in order to advance, promote and foster the religious and educational needs of Jewish communities in the Southeastern United States. Ramah Darom offers both a summer camp devoted to Jewish learning and a year-round retreat center with programs for young adults, seniors and families. By working to build lifelong commitments to Jewish living, Ramah Darom’s efforts are helping to ensure Jewish identity, strength and continuity for the future.
