We knew that Ramah Darom offered a beautiful setting, but could not imagine just how stunning it really is. We knew the food would be good, but did not anticipate just how accommodating and creative the chefs would be. We knew the programming would be educational, but did not realize just how diverse the topics would be. We knew we would relax, but did not expect to meet so many great people with whom to kibitz, play, explore, learn, and rejuvenate. We knew the kids would enjoy themselves, but did not know they would canoe, hike, take yoga, play basketball, jump on inflatables, learn mah jongg, watch movies, play drama games, make charoset, make new friends, and not want to leave. After reading an ad for the Camp Ramah Passover Retreat, I convinced my husband to take me and our five children. It was exactly what we needed...to unplug from our busy lives in Atlanta and relax in the beautiful mountains.
